What is your favorite pokemon, and why?
I don't really have one myself.
I like furret because he's really cute and cuddly, but he ant my favorite, and I don't obsess over him.

Empoleon is my favourite; he's basically the main reason I still play Pokemon, since I was completely turned off from Pokemon when Gen 4 came out.
But then I was tempted to get Peral, went looking at the new Pokemon online and saw Empoleon. SOLD!

Starting with Pokemon Yellow I was forced to use Pokemon that aren't Pikachu to actually get pass Brock. First I stumbled across a Nidoran, then it learned Doublekick, then it ate a Moon Stone, then it kept learning TMs and it snowballed from there.

I don't strictly have a favorite, I think.
Arcanine has always been what I answer the favorite Pokémon question with, but when I was a kid i liked Venusaur and Blastoise. Vaporeon is probably what I'd choose if I could have any starter, and Gengar or Heracross or Hydreigon are all just as cool as Arcanine.
I just say Arcanine cuz I have a pic on my phone and if I could only ever have one, it'd be him.

Actually, I have two:
Lucario, because a Special Fighting-type is pretty cool battle-wise (Keldeo is also this but it is event only).
Shinx (not Luxio/Luxray) because he was my selection as player on Explorers of Sky. At first I didn't liked it because no STAB until Lv. 13 (Chapter 5) and shared a Ground-type weakness with Vulpix, but he started growing to me after he learned Discharge, and its portraits.
