Last time I went across those logs I twisted my ankle and fell in. The area back there is really overgrown because it isn't readily accessible as you can see and has a lot of rivers running through it. I ended up sloshing around and crawling under overgrowth for the better part of an hour until I got to a paved road again. I was headed to a river bed to the north that started to dry up a few years ago. 10 years ago you needed a rope swing to get across, it's still hanging from the branch but it's sallow enought to walk now, it's just a trickle over the rocks.
Finally got out covered in mud and shit, then had to follow the paved road back south about 2 miles to get back to where I started because it winds through so much.

I imagine everything is split into regions, and certain pokemon can only be found on certain continents/areas of continents. So you're getting an advantage if you're the type of person who can travel to different places, or have buddies who can go to other places to pick up certain pokemon for you.

I am pretty excited for this game. I live in Seattle. Travel fairly often to my surrounding states / Canada. I hike a lot of the peaks around here. I go on drives with my car club. I am buying a 30-40ft boat soon to live in the harbor and to take out onto the ocean. I live on a big lake with a boat and jetskis. I have a snowmobile and an awd car.
