I like its design in literally everything other than the games. Its model in them is really bad, which is a shame.
GameFreak clearly doesn't like it, considering its movepool is so bare bones.

The art looks nice here, but I dislike it in general. The waist-down fur cloak looks so lazy and off-putting. The giant ear puffs look bad too, but I could've ignored them if they would go aflame occasionally.

The fire wand is cool, but it doesn't feel the same.

Nice design, shit model, ok stats but nothing special in its movepool. Use it from time to time but wish I had a better reason than having just wanted to at the time.

There is nothing wrong with the model, it's the animations and shitty 3DS resolution to blame
I didn't like it at first but it's grown on me, if only because the rest of the Kalos starters are actually worse.
I was indifferent to it at first, but I like it the most of the Kalos starters now.

Aesthetically, it's wasted potential. Fennekin and Braixen are solid designs, and this could've been a nice line but they squandered it. It's kind of a shame, since it looks nice in fan-art but so bad in official art and even more so in game. The 3D model is just flat-out terrible. Braixen has its dynamic animations whereas Delphox just stands there. I don't like the ear-hair either. If it had a better in-game model, I MIGHT start to like it a bit. But for now, no.
Competitive wise, it's lacking. It should have a movepool more like Mismagius so it can qualify as a proper mage. Magician also isn't the best Hidden Ability either.
