ive always thought it would be neat if we didnt have starters, just really diverse first route mons and the first encounter has an increased capture rate. and an option to start in different towns so theres more of a unique experience. but its probably autistic

you just get a ball right away and theres like six or seven different mons, its random and they would just be fairly normal route one mons not "super special no one else has one" mons and there would be like two different towns to start from and the gym order would be slightly different depending where you started. like route 1A would be like newbark town and thered be poliwag phanpy spearow sentret houndour and sunkern. route 1B you start at like mahogany and the mons would be like mareep pidgey snubull wooper growlithe bellsprout. just an idea
