It's a shame nobody used it. The concept was neat as fuck.

It was an interesting concept. I wish they'd bring it back with a little further development.

I never had a chance to use it because I don't have any friends who even beat the 6th gym leader in any gen 5 games. I'm the guy who beat the 5th gym leader on the first day.

You may as well criticise Inverse Battles, Rotation Battles, etc.

It was a gimmick not intended to change the metagame, but to give a one-off interesting variation in casual battles.

I tried to stick my dick in it. I failed. 2/10

Considering barely anyone knew it existed, probably not many.

I personally never played it, but I watched some battles with WL on. Honestly they were pretty boring, nobody used any of the interesting power ups like the forced Ability activation or even triple X Attack, they just hogged their points until Max Revive became avaliable. No wonder they dropped the concept.
