Never played G/S/C but I played HG/SS a few times. It's worthy playing G/S/C nowadays or not?
>>24882075
hope you like grinding
and half the gen 2 mons being only available in kanto
but otherwise it's pretty fun
>>24882080
I don't mind that stuff, I just want to know if there's anything better in G/S/C compared to HG/SS.
I'm probably sticking with HG/SS, but still curious anyway.
>>24882085
It's slower, smaller, but less handholdy if that matters.
Pretty much the same really, HG/SS is a straight upgrade. Manages to keep the Japanese look too.

Got it, thanks. Merry Christmas, anon.
>>24882140
You too, kind anon
>>24882080
>grinding
Gen IV's engine is so slow it's a grind in itself to just play the damn game, running at what feels like 10fps sometimes.
>>24882075
No
It's easily the worst generation
>>24882654
You mean gen 4 right? Because I fully agree that gen 4's games (DPPt, HGSS) are all terrible and run awefully
See>>24882186 gets it
>There will never be a version of Gen II that's identical to the original but with the physical/special split, abilities, and updated moves
>>24882654
>gen II
>worst gen
Let me guess, gen V is your favorite…
>>24882670
>there will never be a Crystal with no changes other than an updated moveset and an updated pokédex
Why live?>tfw no Metagross in gen II
>>24882661
4 is about on par, equally awful.
>>24882075
Play a rom hack of it like pokemon dark energy
>>24882679
Why does gen II suck though, anon?
>>24882127
>HG/SS
>handholdy
Confirmed for not playing
