There's nothing digimon about Golurk, we already had Golem-like pokémon before (Regis for example), just because it's a original concept that isn't just a animal+element, doesn't mean that's a digimon.

It's a automaton ghost golem created by people hundreds of years ago to act as guardians, is big as fuck and can fly through the sky. Also has a occult power protected by the bandage/seal.

Golurk learns zap cannon. It may not be designed from a gameplay perspective to use special attacks, but it has a seal on its chest bursting with energy and zap cannon. Also a shit ton of mecha have ranged energy attacks it isn't an Iron Giant thing.

Impressive
It has good punching moves to make use with Iron Fist, outside of no ground punching moves and Shadow Punch being weak. For triple battles, it is risky to use Earthquake if you don't have a levitating or flying partner. That isn't a problem when my other Pokemon are ghosts, but when they are ground types, it is a hindrance sometimes, since Earthquake still beats Dig or Phantom Force.
