Got another of these little planters recently. A Marill one that's not pictured and I'm trying to find the Diglett and Pikachu that I think were also part of the set. They're tiny and more collectables than actual planters but they are usable and okay so far for succulents. The little seedlings I had in them in this pic died off but succulents seem to work out alright. Breloom is a Jakks figure and Shroomish is a keychain fig from Basic Fun.

Shitty fabric for the leaf and flower. Will probably be wonky. Fabric on the feet will probably be a different color from the white stuff on the bottom of the body. Embroidery might not be aligned correctly. Probably won't be stuffed enough.
If there's no legitimate option and the chinese one is really cheap, go for it. I've been pleasantly surprised by chinese knockoffs sometimes.
If anyone's in the area, the Nintendo World store in NYC has the best selection of Pokemon plushes I've ever seen them have right now. Probably twice the selection as usual, including lots of large-size ones. The giant Snorlax was really tempting.

how does one clean and polish the pokémon figures without ruining them or rubbing paint off?

warm water does the trick but it really comes down to the material of the figure
for these specific ones, I used Clorox Disinfectant Wipes to clean them, let them dry and then hit them with Klasse All in One polish (safe for any plastic surface, doesn't stain or damage the paint and also protects from sun rays; I detail cars and use it for all my detailing jobs)
