Its okay anon, I feel you, it will always remain digimonshit for me. I don't like that they copied it, and I can get used to it, but what I'm afraid of is that they are now going to try and balance all mons by giving them a mega, rather than adjusting their base forms.
I don't like how many were made for one pair of games. There was like 28 ME for X and Y and 20 for ORAS. Like holy shit, calm your tits. It's only Mega Evolutions.
Dude. I hate it too. It doesn't make sense in the lore and is a stupid gameplay mechanic. I didn't buy OR or AS purely because of this.

More mega evos, more imbalance between the pokes and so we can create more and more tiers for all the pogeymans.
I don't really mind the concept of mega evolution, my only problem is that gamefreak will probably never add a normal evo to a past gen chain again. While a lot of gen 4 evos were kinda shitty some of them were really dope and I would love to see shit like Dunsparce or Mantine get a normal evo rather than be force fed a mega if anything to be relevant.
