Swellow has higher speed, higher attack, and can hit massive STAB Guts boosted Facade attacks yet it's rotting in NU.

Hits harder, is bulkier, breaks through walls and has a superior defensive typing. The one thing Talon has over Crobat is access boosting moves, and with Talon's mediocre stats they're not going to amount to anything.

Talonflame is the most based pokemon ever for preventing cancerous pokemon from being OU with its existence alone. Thank you Talonflame.
I don't really like it and how it's broken Gamefreaks' previous attempts at balancing priority (Sucker Punch's limitations, Prankster only on non-attacking moves, most priority being 40 base power, Extremespeed's poor distribution and Normal-type) but most of my favorite Pokemon are Rock or Water anyway so it's never really been a big problem for me.
