I was reading a translation, pretty sloppy but it wasn't that hard to understandDelibird were supposed to be the Santa Claus of the mon world. But since population was able to sustain presents by themselves, they didn't had too much work to do now.Pichu was an orphan (I think his family died) and Delibird heard his plea with his "Santa Claus" powers and went to give him the a present. Pichu didn't want that but Delibird can't bring back the dead. Instead he gave Pichu comfort.Now, there was a rule. Santa can't be seen by a kid or it disappears. As a parting gift, Delbird made him look so he could appreciate his gaze. Delibird felt happy (while disappearing) that he could do his work and there were people that still believed in them, thanking god.Pikachu is seen in a Church, still an orphan. Kids made fun of him for still believing in Santa when their parents are the ones that bring the presents. He answers that even so, he knows that Santa actually exists and he has never doubted it.
