Loved it back in the day. Ash vs. Lt. Surge was the first really epic battle that stuck with me. The St. Anne two-parter was awesome, and the giant Pokemon episode with the subtitles was weird and cool. 4 of the best episodes of the series right in a row. Go West Young Meowth is based.

Not really. It's clear GF/TPCi are trying (too) hard to compete with the mobile gaming but they just end up alienating their old fanbase while failing to capture the hearts of the kids. While I don't think they should ignore the kids their current strategy needs some serious reworking. PTCG seems to be doing fine, even if the card design has been uncreative lately.
