Since the Third movie and Last Legendary Pokemon in a film is coming in 2016 probably around July. Following the third installment to Generation 6
There will be of course the last movie of the generation that introduces the Next Generation Pokemon.
What are your expectations of Gen 7 ?

I expect it to be quite bad but probably better than VI. VI is really phoned-in, bottom-of-the-barrel tripe.
Gen7 will be part of Gen6. It'll be on the XY/ORAS engine but it'll have another ~70 new Pokemon like XY, plus some new Megas. It'll come out in Late 2016 and will be expected to hold down the fort until Gen8 comes out for a new system in 2018.

Pretty much, but cross evolutions/babies are shithouse. Gen III and V were the best for a reason.
We'll probably get Gen VII in 2017, when the new new 3DS will probably launch.
