Telling by the red tags, this most likely be Target? Stores like them give these type of deals here and there. Especially during Holiday season when everybody is shopping for gifts. Only 15 bucks off but that's enough to convince people to grab a copy or two. I know a few people who would get this right when I looked at this photo and I'm sure there are a ton more who will get it with the price being lowered a good amount.
So you must not know how things work when it comes to getting sales, because unless this is past 50% off, their still making a good profit and this game gonna sale even more.

There been times Pokemon games gotten discounted this far for a limited time. Though it's usually happens online and rarely seen in actual stores like this. (Sometimes they'll let you pricematch their online discounts.)
The only exception being XY, which also gotten these kind of deals few times in places like target,walmart, best buy, etc.
