Just scored 81632 on the comp with M-Gengar, Virizion, Phione, and Palkia after scoring 64013 with M-Blastoise and the same support. Both runs were all items, and I actually got a better combo on turn 0 from Phione with the M-Blastoise run. Seems like M-Gengar is the way to go here.

Phione's catch rate is a ctually pretty high and it's a piss easy stage.
For Dialaga, I used items and gotna decent catch rate but you should be able to do it itemless if you get enough combos going. Just make sure not to combo in the first 5 turns, otherwise the board will reset when you run out of moves. Bring Ninetails

It does mention a rare Pokemon. Phione has a base catch percentage of 40. With the moves I had left, it was an easy catch. I wasn't looking for mine though. Looking for it and not finding it would be frustrating.
Right, I spent a lot of coins to be able to get Mewtwo a decent catch rate. Some sort of reimbursement would have been nice, whether powerups, jewels, or coins for those of us who already had him.

I have mixed feelings with shuffle right now, Regigigas having 90 bp and it's ability being somewhat decent and not based on any "slow start" shit is fucking awesome.
But literally giving away mewtwo? What the fuck. I worked real fucking hard for that shit and now they are just being handed out. Its ability isn't the worst but it's pretty unreliable.
No Slow Start is great though, and as other people have said, it'll be a beast in Double Normal teams (where the unreliable ability really shines).

Pretty disappointed with Shuffle lately. It has slowed down to a crawl and the only bits of activity come with Escalation states, some Safaris (I could tell you how much time I spent looking for Phione during the original run) and new main stages.

when its a dead weak, dont go back farming the cat; stay on the sheep.
Even if you start the week with 85k or whatever thanks to other mons releasing, dont go farming.
Instead grind exp; you get 30 coins per win, and you can easly play 30 games a day with good sleep. 30 * 30 = 900 coins a day. coupled with the fact that you get 500 each day and maybe 1000, thats some money. Also there is weekend meowth which gives you around 5k in general (sometimes more, sometimes less.)
Dont be that guy who farms meowth until he hits 99999 coins, thats stupid and wastefull. Think ahead, calculate if you reach 97k at the next update and farm accordingly. I havent farmed meowth in 2 and a half weeks now and i currently have 91k. You will gain much more by grinding Amphy.
Also never ever go into a new week with 99999 coins. New and Event stages usualy give you 200 coins on the first victory and you dont always have to dish out money to beat them. Plus some event stages give you more than 200 (or in Latias/Latios cases, like 20k coins during the first 150 plays).But this only applies to 3ds, mobile players have to farm for every coin they can get because of how frickle their source of income is. Your own fault for not owning a 3ds I guess.

Seriously though, if you have a 3ds, play shuffle on that. You may missed a lot, but they keep recycling them so its not that of a bummer, and you get much further faster because you actualy have a stable source of income and items cost less; its more fun and less tedious.

It's nowhere near punishing save for the Meowth farming, they rehash these events in mobile as well and I'm just looking for the most efficient way to deal with these events.
I already missed the Regi trio like twice save for Regirock on the second time before this new event and it would be months again before they rerelease them.

If you beat something In shuffle, it didnt felt like a challenge. Either you can S-rank it or you need to buckle up and pay for the s-rank which just gives you a feeling of "I have to play with the cat later on.."
Dark Souls may be cheap, but if you beat a hard boss there, its realy rewarding. Beating hard stages in Trozei also felt hella rewarding.
