I'd be cool with amiibo cards similar to ACHHD. Some special move set Pokemon, maybe a shiny or some Battle Maison items here and there. I could see them putting them in with the TCG packs/blisters as an extra incentive the way they've been doing with the pins.

Actually they're not. amiibo cards are fundamentally different in structure and thickness for the cards, plus having a slight bump where the chip is. As such, there'd be a noticeable difference in the thickness of the cards making it easier for pro players to know what card is what when shuffling. As such, it won't happen.

Hopefully we'll still have save editing if this happens. Not buying shitty toys to get everything in game.

I saw some idea on here using amiibo similar to the mystery gift trainer house in that it adds in a trainer you can fight/train against who has pokemon that vaguely fit the theme of the character of the amiibo in question, maybe even have the character as the trainer.

You don't need save editing, since you can just write your own NFC chips that function the same as Amiibo for a few cents each. A lot of newer phones come with that functionality. It's just not a very well-known thing because current Amiibo functionality is so trivial that it's not worth the effort.

I like >>24835899 and >>24835890, but how about for the Pokémon, you get to battle and attempt to catch the wild Pokémon that the Amiibo is, and for the non-Pokémon, you can battle a trainer based on that character. Like Marth would have Gallade and Aegislash.
