Awakening was only bad because of simplistic level design and imbalanced new features. FE games get stripped to hell and back every time they change systems just so IS can work on an engine before working on the game itself. It's like the first pair of a generation. FE6 was much worse and Shadow Dragon still exists.
Fates has like 2 total people who can be bisexual or something like that. The more prominent part about fates is the balancing of the new features introduced from Awakening and fixing level design to be interesting again.

It's a decent game with an awful fanbase due to furries that does some fun things with the fourth wall, like that Yandere VN that haunts you on New Game+ or Metal Gear Solid.
It's 10 bucks and worth the play. It's not really worth the abhorrent hate /v/ gives it for being popular, or the substantial praise tumblr gives it for hitting some of their checklists for what they want out of a game.

Confirmed, I got ORAS a few months ago and the fandom for it is still pretty big.
There are tons of giveaway blogs, posts from people playing the games, Pokemon-related news, and fan art. Tumblr is literally just a content-dump. That said, I'd bet the only reason Pokemon has more reblogs is because Undertale has only been out/popular for a few months and Pokemon has been steady all year.
