Everyone always says Gamefreak fucked up hard with Shedinja and that wonder guard should also incorporate magic guard's effects.
Personally, I think quite the opposite. After seeing sturdy Shedinja, I think that wonder guard should block all attacks, even super effective ones, but no passive damage whatsoever. This means Shedinja is only able to be defeated by passive damage, which I think is fair since it has no innate immunities to any form of it and dies in one hit to all sources of it.

Tbqh they could just make mega Shedinja's ability sturdy, effectively doing what you're suggesting but depriving it of lum berry/goggles.

Nah. Remember that even with this buff Shedinja still has no access to Sword Dance unless it's from gen 3, and even then it still keeps an embarassing BST of 236.

Well considering its defences are irrelevant and its hp is literally 1, that's not too bad.
In fact, Shedinja's BST as a whole is pretty irrelevant, since its playstyle is "use teammates to eliminate all possible threats, then win when they have no possible answers to Shedinja". If Shedinja is untouchable, it doesn't really matter how strong or fast it is.and you just know if Gamefreak makes mega shedinja it'll have a fucking defence and special defence boost.
