For each type, what is the best game for a mono-type run?
I'm assuming the following so far:
>Water/Grass: Hoenn
>Ice: Sinnoh
>Ground: Kanto or Unova
>>24818445
Fire: Hoenn
>>24818449
And then you meet Wallace.
I am fairly sure Solar Beam's TM learnset was expanded to what it is in G4 games.
Actually, I'd like to know the one for Flying. I was thinking maybe Kalos or Hoenn?

Hoenn- Soaring battles and riding on latias.
Would Unova be good for Fighting?
>Electric: Unova because Chargestone
>Fairy: Kalos (No shit)
>Bug: Johto because holy shit all those bugs
>Rock: Unova?
>Flying: Hoenn because of the multiple type combos
>Fighting: Unova because they appear in the wild or Kalos because muh husbandos Pangoro and Chesnaught
>Dark: ?
>Psychic: Unova?
>Poison: Sinnoh or Kanto
>>24818445
I did a good Steel mono-run in Black 2
And a Poison mono-run too.
>not just X/Y for everything because you can get all Pokemon
>>24818445
DP: Fire
Kanto: Poison
kanto - ghost
johto - dark
hoenn - ice
sinnoh - dragon
unova - poison
kalos - fire
>>24818974
>Sinnoh
>not fire
I did mono-fire in X/Y and did alright. No EXP. share and provided a moderate challenge
>>24819033
Infernape obliterates everything
>>24818974
>johto - dark
Doesn't matter, just grind to 100 and you can breeze through anything.
>>24818522
> Psychic
> not Kanto
>>24818974
You can have 5 Fire types in the Kalos games before the 2nd gym and another 2 immediately afterwards.
Try Ground type
>>24819714
This, psychic was stupid over powered in gen 1.
>>24820100
Making it a good reason to not play the Kanto games for a psychic run
I bet you use Exp. All :^)
>>24818522
>>Fighting: Unova because they appear in the wild or Kalos because muh husbandos Pangoro and Chesnaught
muh nigger
Also, Kalos likes giving you lots of easy, good-looking Fighting-types for some reason, like Hawlucha or Korrina's Lucario.
>>24818445
fighting: kalos, because hawlucha gives you a flier (and is fucking based)
