All things considering some are best at their specialization than others. I just fucking hope they give mega Noctowel something that respects its theme and makes it worth using.

The game could just start at something other than 'generic grassy route', then there's an excuse for actual interesting Pokemon early on.
Fletchling and it's evos. I think it was the first early route bird I used in my team as a fulltime member and not just fly hm slave. Usually I don't like using those birds bc they are half normal type.
I used to love them in Hoenn. Still favorite early bird, hoot-hoot/noctowl as a close second.
