This is bs. They only patched some shitty browser exploit on N3DS, but the MP4 one was better anyway.

And like the other anon said, pretty much all you'll miss is menuhax (and browserhax if you've not triggered the update nag on your browser yet). If you really want to access eShop and will still be able to use homebrew I'd recommend to update, I use ironhax and I updated to buy SMD and be able to checkin in Shuffle again.

it works if you use svdt which bypasses secure value checks and restores old saves with old secure values. should work with saves from other systems too. svdt bypasses antisavegame-restore the 3ds has and works without kernel access.

I backed up my save before trying an early version of PCHeX which inevitably corrupted my save and i deleted the corrupted save and tried to restore my save from the backup with save manager only for it to fail and install a corrupt save file which i had to delete. then i restored the save from the backup and svdt restored it with no problems. this was on Omega Ruby which I had transferred my Pokemon from Pokemon Sapphire all the way up to. almost lost my first ever Swampert and Kyogre but with svdt and the backup I got it all back right away. its totally fixable

It's still not possible to spoof the game region AND connect to Mysterygift with just pure Homebrew, right?

I need to make a Landorus, because I want a decent one without having to reset for hours and hours. I've never actually made my own Pokemon before (closest was duplicating my save file in Blue for multiple Eevees), so I've got no idea where to start. The easiest way is to go and catch the mon, and then edit it with Pkhex, since changing the IVs and nature won't make any difference on the legality. Creating it from scratch is fairly simple, but you got to make sure to put the right "met" information, and maybe there's some stuff with the memories too, i'm not entirely sure about that one. The worst thing that could happen is that you won't be able to use that pokemon on battlespor/tournaments. Really it's all pretty straight forward and intuitive
