But those are still related to each other, assuming >>24799795 is supposed to be it's own completely separate line from Caterpie and metapod. If it's some effect that can be applied to multiple bug types, that just makes it even more complicated
All I'm saying is that they could stand to look just a little more obviously unique. They could at least be given a noticeably darker color scheme or something

I think it could get a pass if they made it a bit more over-the-top. Make them bug/ghost and give them glowing eyes or something.

Make it identical to a normal Caterpie, but when it attacks its eyes suddenly start glowing and it floats when using Tackle.
