I started with an Evasion Orb for boosted evasion, then a Rainy Orb to lower Zekrom's fire damage. Slapped them both with Truant Wands, ate an Encourage Seed, and went to town with 100% accurate Rollout. They didn't last long.

You still get a shitload of EXP without any motivated Pokemon, so it ain't a huge loss.
By the way, you already gain two room-targeting Fire-types just by making a second visit to Fire Island Volcano. Heatran learns Heat Wave, and Entei Sacred Fire.
The Growlithe family is also pretty easy to recruit.

If you haven't already, when you meet any of the charizard line other than charizard, evolve them and have hawlucha make them remember heat wave. Now you have 3 heat wave users, unlikely they'll all be on break whenever you have a motivated unown, and it's worked well for me (plus my partener is charizard).

I wanted to play with Smeargle some, but because of hot fast it already gets to level 100 and the fact that it can't sketch Aeroblast, Origin Pulse, Precipice Blades, Dragon Ascent, Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Crush Grip, Shadow Force, Judgment, Fusion Flare, Fusion Bolt, Bolt Strike, Blue Flare, Glaciate, Freeze Shock, Ice Burn, Geomany, Oblivion Wing, and Land's Warth (beacuse Smeargle can't sketch giants) kind of killed it for me.
Also, does anyone know what move Kyurem has to know in order to use Fusion Bolt as black Kyurem or Fusion Flare as white Kyurem? Glaciate automatically changes to Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.
I have two questions. One, does the satiated looplet let you walk through walls endlessly with ghosts or does it not affect it?
Secondly, is Arecus a "gigantic" pokemon? I'm at 719 and after I grab the looplet I'm going after him if he isn't. If he is I'll get all the treasures first.

Dungeon crawling anon, lots of dungeon crawling. Alternatively, you can also check the Kek shop on the island every time you complete a dungeon there, and also hope they're in stock at the Kek shops you might encounter within the dungeons themselves, though those shops aren't 100% guaranteed. I was able to buy/pick up multiple reviver and tiny reviver seeds on multiple run-throughs of the same dungeon as well as three ban seeds, plus since PP Island doesn't have a cooldown time for any of your recruited Mons, you can use them as often as you want and they'll never go on break.

1. Get rid of all items you do not want to lose.
2. Find a dungeon where the Pokémon are weak enough
3. Go there with some other Pokémon there and kill yourself.
4. Ask for rescue and write down the password.
5. Abort waiting for rescue, use the password to rescue yourself. There's a guaranteed Monster House in the room you got killed.
6. Just before rescuing yourself, abort the rescue and retry. Most dungeons have limit of 10 (I think?) attempts before you can no longer do the rescue; some like Dark Crater have more.

Unlock Mysterious Geoglyph, and bring at least one Heat Wave or Sacred Fire user (Charizard, Heatran, and Entei are notable). Also bring a Sunny Day user if you absolutely have to power up your Fire-attacks.
Stay on the 8th floor for as long as you can, and profit. I've levelled up the Florges family from 50-100 in two days just by doing this. Pokemon with higher EXP bars like Salamence, of course, take a little while.

Also, the pacing of the game was a bit lopsided, we never really got to know the Society members, and it probably would've been way better to make a sekrit club with your schoolmates, who you had actual synergy with. You can join the Society after proving yourself and saving the world, etc.
If you're talking about individual cutscenes, they're not integral to the plot, but they're pretty cool nonetheless.

There's too much of it, and the plot is dumb. Yeah, the graphics are pretty good (even if the animations are basic and choppy since they had to animate 700+ models, and they reuse the 'about to cry' drawing for the 'tired/just woke up' drawing.), but I seriously don't care about the story.
The perfect story for a mystery dungeon game to me would just be 'go rescue, and expand your team'. I legitimately enjoy the mechanics enough to not need a lame story to "keep my interest".

I thought that was too over-the-top and ultimately a waste of time. The past games never really had anything that "crazy", the most I can think of isKyurem fucking killing Hydreigon out of nowhere and literally curbstomping you in Gates while your partner begs Kyurem to stopbut even that isn't on the same tier and felt like you were watching something horrible happening. Super is full of moments that have a lot of over-the-top spectacle to them which honestly just felt out of place for PMD to me.
But that doesn't have to do with the quality of the story, my issue is mostly near the end when a lot of things feel very poorly explained, and it would've been simple enough to handwave them, but then they try to explain it and the explanation doesn't make sense so you can't just handwave it anymore. The pacing was also fucking awful through most of the game, not nearly enough time is spent with the Society members to get attached to them, too much time is spent with the schoolkids for how irrelevant they end up, and generally the plot meanders way too much until suddenly everything's going at lightning pace.

Is Zap Cannon really the only ranged electric attack? Thunderbolt, Parabolic Charge and Shockwave hit around you, Thunder is a single target move and Discharge hits the entire room. I don't have the gold to dump drinks into Zap Cannon just yet and it sucks that there aren't any other options for a ranged attack.

I opted for a special build with my MC and partner because the amount of pokemon that can lower that stat is very poor. The only issue I have is against rock types in sandstorm, a tyranitar takes a couple of hits to die even from a super effective move.
oh and physical moves are great too, I have garchomp with swords dance and it will shred everything in the same room as it with earthquake. Although I have to prepare my team for it.
Still trying to find Lampent. Don't see it in any town or connection mission through Breloom.

Dungeons are a lot shorter in Super. The difficulty is much more balanced around stronger enemies and smart item usage than sheer length like the previous games. I don't think there's a single story dungeon longer than 15 floors and most postgame dungeons are at worst 30. If you like Rescue Team apart from the length of the dungeons then you'll probably like Super more
