Can anyone here help me find a picture of a fakedex? The only fakemons I remember being in it was a late-ish in the dex, really cute 2/3-stage bug-type line with kind of a clown motif going on, and the last stage was a butterfly/moth. Nope. I can't find anything on deviantart either. Oh, I think it was an anon's dex posted in one of these threads a while back this year, and they only post on tumblr or something. I remember them saying that a lot of people didn't understand the design choices in the fakedex since many of the fakemon were based on folklore from the artist's country. Russia, maybe? Honestly no idea.

I just found this person's fakedex and it's so weird because I had the exact same idea for a fairy type line of a rocking horse evolving into a carousel horse like a year ago. I think I posted the idea in a PokeAus thread (RIP). Anyway I love this design it's exactly how I imagined it.

Btw, has anyone else noticed that a lot of artist's have no idea how to go about designing fairy-types? It's always either:
1.No fairy-types in the dex at all or only 1 or 2 lines
2. All fairy designs are just small pixies/sprites/mushroom-based
3. Some designs look like they'd fit as fairies very well but they're almost always normal or psychic instead.
I mean, it's been more than two years, can't we do better than this? There are a lot of really creative artists/designs that I love, but the problem seems to be that the people in general have no idea what makes a fairy type (though I'd chalk that up to GF handling the introduction of the type really fucking poorly).

Interesting, what's it based on? I think GF needs one or two more gens to figure out wtf they wanna do with fairy types, solidify it as a concept and come up with a good set of fairy mons. Well I made it well before Gen 6 when Delphox was a thing. Basically it was originally a Fire/Psychic Type. As notice by the name, it was based on Buddhist monks, I changed it to Ghost to reflect it more spiritual side. With one of Arietama powers is turn intangible due to all the meditation in the spirit world which explains it half Ghost type.
The dots on it head represent the Urna and the flame is actually a living fire spirit conjured when it evolves into Buddbar.

I like Brawlaby by itself, but I don't know how I feel about it next to Clobberoo. As is, Clob just feels like a bigger version of Brawlaby. I think there can be some more differences.
Brawlaby might lose the headgear (which it then gains in evolution). You could even do the opposite: the Brawlaby plays safe, but the Clobberoo is more dangerous (might not be "safe" enough for a kids game, but perhaps something like brass knuckles?). You could give the Clobberoo a towel around its neck/shoulders: maybe it's cooling down from a fight or warming up.
Gotta remember that an evolution is supposed to be equivalent to a personal evolution.
