Is Pokemon Colosseum and its sequel gaining in popularity all the sudden? There's been an noteworthy spike in activity (Let's Play's, reviews, etc.) throughout 2014/2015 compared to previous years. I thought everyone had long forgotten about it these titles by now (been 10+ years) but apparently I stand corrected.
Did people grow tired of the old formula after xy/oras? A sudden synchronized surge of nostalgia?
I'd throw my credit card at a Wii U or later remaster of these titles.
A Wii U sequel might actually get me to buy a Wii U.

Same here. Right now, there's a few interesting games on the Wii U, but nothing for me to justify a new console when I haven't bought one in several years besides Nintendo handhelds.

Maybe. I hope so, Colosseum 1 was great. Managed to be different but not too different and was a bit more "dark" but not really "edgy". Never played Colosseum II though.

They are both good games that don't follow the norm of the handhelds, and since the jump to 3D on the handhelds wasn't as good, people want these games back.
Everything about them looks better than XY/ORAS 2bh, especially their models.

Ive been replaying them lately. Would love a sequel, with all the new things that have been introduced there is a lot these games could work with.

Played through Colosseum for the first time recently; it was pretty fun though its not without issues. Would definitely like to see a new game in the same style as Colo/GoD but not really a sequel. Would like to see a new unique region that's not mostly desert. Of course Mirror B is welcome to show up and let the music play.
They really need to remake a spin-off.if not, we have to do it.
