Has anybody bought minis like these before?
I just wanna make sure they're actually good before buying them. Pokemon Center isn't exactly notorious for posting good pictures of their products.

They're good. I've got an Articuno that's been on my 3DS for over a year and it's still pristine. They hold up well and they look just as nice as the pictures.

The Articuno I got from another collector so I don't know how old it is. But I think they've made these types of charms for several years and only release batches of each character, then take them off the market, so if you like a particular line I would suggest getting it while you can.

When they announced it I got so ridiculously ecxited. I thought it would be a proper and good looking pokemon plush, but no. It's better than nothing though. Maybe some day.

It part of a Japan's "I love Gothic" collection.
All I want for Christmas is a houndour plush that doesn't look ugly. There's none on ebay/amazon, and etsy has quite a few stinkers.

a lot of the charms in the us pokemon center were previously released in the japanese pokemon centers. they've actually produced charms for every pokemon, but i guess the us pokemon center is just testing the waters first.

Nice one. I actually have the sleeping version coming in the mail. It will fit in nice with my onemuri Pikachu plush.
It's basically one of the only Cyndaquil plushes I've ever seen that I like. Only downside is that it might be a bit too yellowy, could have been a bit lighter.
I never liked the plushes with the flames on his back, since those flames always look so fake / weird.
And the Pokédoll Cyndaquil has that weird huge back and a nose that's too small. Pic related for comparison.

The kuttari plushes with open eyes just look weird to me, although maybe not for Cyndaquil as his eyes aren't that different when open or closed.

What's the best place to get official Pokémon Center plushes and other merchandise in Europe? All we have is some Takara Tomy stuff that they might sell in some toy stores if you're lucky.

I find it hard to believe that a plushie I can buy at sunyshore for $15 that costs $12 at the US pokemon store is a "50% markup".
Not to mention resellers are the only way to get all of the japan-exclusive merch, and places like sunyshore/pokevault are still a lot cheaper than scalpers on ebay.

If I get lucky with gift-receiving. I have no idea how much cash I am going to get, so it is sort of matter of luck. 50$ is a max I can get from all gifts and with that I'll have overall enough cash to get a used 3DS so hey Merry Christmas to me.
