Wally is cute as hell, the new megas are cool and the villains getting actual personalities as opposed to copied and pasted scripts is nice, but not enough to justify getting this game if you own the originals or are not in any particular hurry to get them. Especially seeing as there's in all likelihood a new game on the horizon.
If you're bored and/or can get the game for cheap then sure, but don't feel as though they're necessary additions to your collection by any means.

I'll be honest, ORAS is only good for the move tutors and the new megas. Otherwise it has the same problems as the originals, in that Hoenn sucks. They actually removed a bunch of areas and some shit is actually worse, like growing berries. Like everyone said, it feels rushed. It lacks postgame, maybe even more than X/Y. The pacing of the story is still really fucking stupid. Wally is cool but he just disappears for 90% of the game and Brendan/May are as pathetic as ever.

Worth it pretty much for move tutors.

Should get both. If you care more about competitive buttling and being current you should get OR/AS first. But there are lots of good pokemon in X/Y and it's a very enjoyable game.
