McBob is / was fairly popular here with the fans because he was the first /vp/ manager to make the team yo-yo, but it's also because of him and his totally oblivious and awful shitposting (especially in /4ccg/) that /vp/ is hated by a huge chunk of people who aren't already fans.

I never blamed him for the /out/ loss. I don't blame him for anything I never used his export in: I just found it frustrating that the export he said "worked" was a fluid formation with only one person forward when we were out of possession, meaning that if we didn't hold good possession in the first place (and /out/ was possession-based as fuck), we would never, ever score, much less bring back the scoreline. So I used mainly Resolink's designs, which pressed for the ball on fluid like /fit/ did, and it was always going to be either win hard, lose hard. I admit 100% blame for what happened there; I don't regret going with it.
I'll be honest: I've been disillusioned with /vp/'s play and after the travesty that was /vp/ - /asp/ I wanted to see what it was going wrong. Autumn was our first real experiment in fixing it.
I never got the chance to clarify myself to McBob or anyone after I was done being salty because he left anyway. But that's the way things are. All I wanted to ask him was to strictly test our settings instead of experimenting and messing around like the /out/ export I got mad at him for.[ spoiler]Mainly, our defensive settings, because anyone can do attacking sliders, and we wanted to figure out how defense worked.[/spoiler]
