Not exactly thread related but I got banned because using various method of making pokemons for vgc, is there any way to get unbanned? Send email and ask to get unbanned or reset game for example? Or do I need to buy a new game?
Anyone has any experience?

Backup your save in your computer, delete it in your game, play a little until you have access to online features, go to Game Sync to get a new ID, then go to Battlespot to get a new account, and finally restore your save.
How do you feel about "copying" teams? The only team I manage to win and have fun is copied from Cybertron. The one he used at worlds.
It's bad for Bo1 (I keep getting blown by random shit like HP Fire Thundurus) but it has three favorites of mine.

Using other people's teams is the best way to get started, as long as you build your own team later when you feel you're ready. Cybertron himself encourages people to use his teams to get a feel of the meta and get your confidence levels up, so don't worry about that.
And yes, it's your Game Sync ID that gets banned, as well as your Battlespot account.

I did this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/changing-pok%C3%A9mon-x-y-game-sync-id.401434/ but using save manager homebrew to backup my save. It works on ORAS.
Remember to also copy the secure value from your new save, and pasting it on your old one.
You can find the lines that ORAS secure value is stored here: http://projectpokemon.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_ORAS_Save_File_Structure
Then make a new PGL account and use it to register your new sync ID. Then you should be able to play online with your old save.

I think it was from trying to move hacked pokemon made with action replay to pokebank from white 2 or because I tried to play in battle spot with some pokemons that I though were legit.. probably the latter one.

I wouldn't run that to begin with, but anyway:

It doesn't really need much investment to survive all the ground attacks, even if they're STAB and are boosted by items. With Light Clay you'll have to sacrifice almost all your speed EVs, so it's not really worth.

For all of the ban posts, as long as you haven't done anything stupid like a shiny zapdos or lv50 hydriegon you will be fine. I guess if you haven't been corrupting other people save file helps a lot too like Japan lol. Also, in terms of irl events, gone to regs and pcs without a problem.
Are there any good sets using old event or move tutor moves? Wish/Seismic Toss Mega Kangaskhan is the only one I can think of.
