"zed" is just an ugly word.
Notice how it has two distinct consonant noises. It literally requires more effort to say it aloud.
"zee" on the other hand, has a single consonant noise and a single vowel sound. It's more perfectly monosyllabic than "zed".
And that is why zed-sayers are objectively wrong.
Letters are the elementary particles of language. Their names should be simple as phonetically possible. Fuck W though. I hate that letter.
Here's an other thought. Think of how many letters end with "ee". B,C,D,E,G,P,T,V,(Z). How many letters end with "ed"? Fucking none.
