Alright /vp/, I thought of this idea a while ago.
What would happen if you gave a layman a description of a Pokemon (i.e "a blue turtle with cannons"), and had them draw it.
Now, what would happen if someone did that for every single Pokemon, resulting in a Pokedex full of knockoffs?
Let's try it. Claim the Pokemon you're doing, and try drawing it as if you only know a basic description. For bonus points, try to keep it in the "Pokemon style". Make it look like it could be a legitimate design for a Pokemon.
Let's only stop when we're done with each and every Pokemon!

That's a pretty bad description. Lot's of things could be described as "fire dragon", not just a pokemon. Going by the example description in the OP, the least that could have said was "orange dragon with a flaming tail"

Hey, that might be a way to make this work better. Instead of just telling the person a basic description, show them all it's Pokedex entries and let them work off of that.
