If Zoroark were possibly faster and given a greater move spread to make illusion work well, it'd have more viability. But as it stands, it's a glass cannon without enough speed to back it up, doesn't have enough variability with its moveset, and doesn't have enough firepower to back up its extreme frailty. Same too, as I really wanted to like rusefox

A little fix in stats would be enough. I guess.
Remove 40 from attack, give 20 to speed and 20 to hp, and add 15 missing more In spa or attack, idk.

That'd immensely help it. I'd go as far as to say as to have Illusion copy the defensive stats of the pokemon it is imitating (sans HP), or reduce damage by 50% when under illusion. Breaking illusion returns its defenses back to normal/gets dealt damage at normal levels. Would add some survivability to Zoroark.
You know, a lot of people say Zoroark would be better without team preview, but fuck it would literally be on EVERY team were that the case.
