Well, it was labeled "Very Difficult".
I think it has just the right amount of difficulty. It was hard enough to make me use a few reviver seeds per dungeon, but I only actually died twice during the main story. I like how you actuallt have to use your items.

I find it hard to believe that a Sharpedo needs help actually killing a Barboach.
It's more that the game is do or die pretty much. There's no breathing room like past games, and unless you're willing to grind which won't even help for long, you're going to be using the same strategies over and over again.

I haven't been this immersed in a video game in years. They did a great fucking job. I can't believe how well done the story was. Best PMD by far. I'm tearing up as the credits roll.
