Shinies are really common compared to previous gens now. Not that I mind, I found my first wild shiny in X/Y. Too bad it was a Graveler.
First Munna I saw in ORAS was shiny. It has perfect Def and SpD, too. How can I make this thing the best it can be, or should I just keep it as a contest mon? Not sure if I should evolve it.
I've mm'd a few this Gen with varying degrees of difficulty.....as far as wild ones go...
Gold: Golbat on victory road
Ruby: a fucking tentacool
FR: a zubat.....
White: a Solrock in the giant chasm...this was a bazillion hours in though...
White 2: a mareep 20 minutes into the game in flocessy ranch....it was jolly with a 0 speed iv (I still used it to beat the game...)
X: an axew while murdering zubats for speed evs....

It was just lame getting the same one twice...and that it was the mon you run into the most in the game.
The ones I found in gen 5 and 6 were exciting because they were things you don't normally see

my friend my brother and I used to keep all the shinies on one of our games so that we never lost them even though we liked to start new games often
we collected:

1x pidgey
1x phanpy
can't remember what else, but we had at least 5

Was breeding for a Shiny Snivy for the last week up until yesterday.
Hatched a female with pentaperfect IVs... but without its hidden ability (i.e.- it's shit.). Powered through all of yesterday and finally hatched a male with Contrary a few hours ago. Only 4 IVs but beggars choosers etc.
Want to start for a shiny Unburden Treeko now, but I'm not sure which egg moves to give it before I start the ride again. Tips?

Went into 452 DexNav encounters for a shiny Luxio yesterday, and then 653 for my shiny Clefairy earlier. Currenty 800+ eggs in for a shiny Carbink, 350+ for a shiny Heatmor, and currently 101 DexNavs for a shiny Pidove.

I'm still hype that I managed to breed a shiny female Meowstic with the 5 IVs I wanted it to have.
On the first try, too. And by that I mean it still took like 200 eggs, but I got a 5IV female as my first hatched shiny.
