What's up /vp/?
So, I'm kinda bored and I feel like messing around with a Pokemon Emerald rom. Kind of do a BlazeBlack/VoltWhite esque thing. I know Hoenn is pretty popular and I like Emerald so, I mean, why not eh?
What would you want to see out of this? I'm mostly looking for suggestions like, how a Pokemon should be edited and what teams should NPCs like Maxie and Wally have?

Depending how much work you want to do, a complete plot revision would be neat.
>instead of gym badges and elite four, you're tasked to catch all the legendaries

I might have to refresh my memory on scripting, but making more/new puzzles could be a hell load of fun. And increasing the difficulty of capturing legendaries would be easy to do as well.
I've hacked Fire Red numerous times before and played around with Emerald roms in the past. I know it's time consuming but I don't get bored of it.

I mean you'd have 21 legendaries to scatter around and work with keeping with the gen 3 dex. I feel it'd be more interesting than just going through the pokemon league for the millionth time.

If you were really ambitious you could pretty much make an Emerald hack that completely outclasses Dray's ORAS hack. A lot of things have happened recently.
But take it from me, you better be ready for a wild ride.

You might try different hues of green for the flora and grassy ground.
