Then they can use this format for every other fucking lame arsed re-make they do afterwards. Instead or rehashing this story and characters from the previous game, create a new story and related characters and do something semi-original. How does this not make sense??

Then there wouldnt be any point in doing a third version or sequel, just new geneeration.
What they really need to do is flesh out the characters from XY, flesh out the story and introduce some new charcaters, places and plot points
