Is anyone else a little upset that the Goodra line wasn't Poison/Dragon?
When will we get a legendary or even pseudo legendary Poison Pokemon? Mega Gengar is about the closest we got atm.
Is Kanto the ultimate region for Poison lovers? I'd imaging you cats could go through RGB with some sweet Poison teams. You even have a starter.

Thread for best type.
Did a monopoison AS run recently and it finally made the game enjoyable. This kind of run makes Steven actually the toughest trainer in Hoenn.
Pic related. Used them all exept for Weezing and Beedrill which I got after E4.

A few years ago I did a mono-poison run of Soulsilver.
That was probably the most fun monorun I've ever done. I love how versitale Poison is, pic related was my postgame team (I allowed myself to trade a Skorupi and Budew after the Elite 4, previously I used an Arbok and Vileplume)
I think the reason it was so enjoyable was that I almost had a full team after just a few hours in the game.

What other mono type runs did you try? Steel is my second favorite, but I don't think a lot of games allow me to get Steels early on (without mods of course).

I did a Monopoison LG run, and I agree that it's the most fun I ever had doing a Monotype run. Poison can do so much, it's restrictive but not boringly so.
E4 team was Nidoking (MVP), Golbat, Gengar, Tentacruel, Weezing, and Venomoth. What a team of bros.
On another note, Scolipede for best Poison.

Aggron with sturdy spamming EQs was the worst. Plus I deliberately went slightly underleveled (around level 40-44).
Nidoking has fine moveset, but can't outspeed much and isn't very bulky, so without some kind of support (Glare on Arbok or Disable/Sleep Powder on Venomoth) it goes down quickly.

Since it's common for pseudos to have 4x weaknesses I was expecting a fairy/grass, fairy/rock, fairy/ice, etc. pseudo. After all, dark got a pseudo when it was introduced.
