looking through the list i am now realizing the pokedex's color categorization is quite arbitrary. also thank you for allowing xy hatched mons, it wasn't allowed in the last competition for some stupid reason and all my breeding shit is on x (i don't even have a completed ORAS save file)

Well this is a triple battle so you use all 6 pokemon. In doubles thats how it normally goes though, pick 4.

Charizard and Garde seem like the biggest threats (though HailRoom might also be a thing) but what would ideally be the top threats to prepare for? Thinking of running M-Latias myself but at this point, I don't really know where to start.

Yeah, Wide Guard is definitely going to be considered. Scarf T-Tar will likely be my method to deal with Fire spam and I suppose I can run Scizor for Gardevoir and maybe Togekiss.
Bulky offense is looking rather enticing right now. I'll probably build around Tailwind/Wide Guard support. Ally Switch M-Gallade might be fun to put in the back, but I'm considering M-Venusaur and M-Latias over it right now.

Yeah, that's the problem with Scarf T-Tar. It deals with Talonflame and Charizard, but fails to outspeed Darmanitan.
