I actually greatly enjoyed the whole way up to Snowpoint. Probably one of the longest areas without pokecenters. The snowstorm and thick snow near the end just made it more intense for me.

One of the times that I think exploring was done near perfect in pokémon.

Barely. When some of the enounters are literlly impossible to prevent and for each passing step you take you're just getting closer to a forced encounter, that's something I think few people enjoy. Now, unpreventable encounters with Arena Trap, great.
Same with the winds combined with cycling, since it really isn't that much about clunky controls. It's always just better to wait to the wind has passed, so it's more of a needles waiting game than anything.

The route is basically the epitome of why pokémon should be very wary of including real-time gameplay in a game that's main focus is turn-based battles and tile-based puzzles in the over-world.

You can get Gible after like the second gym in DP.

In the final roon of an optional cave under cycling road you have to go through twice to find because the first time you complete an escort quest out of the cave before getting to the final floor.

Did someone complain about that in BW2? Because it's catchable pre-E4 in all other games were it makes even the slightest of sense.
Gible being catchable isn't really the problem, but the way it is implemented. Besides, Gible was like the biggest clutch in DPPt.

Don't get me wrong. I greatly appreciate complex routes with lots of side-tracking and puzzles. However this route felt incredibly out of place to me. It wasn't particularly fun nor challenging. Just tedious and time consuming. The reason I didn't find it fun comes again back to the gameplay, feeling awkward with its mix of turn and time based elements, which again ruined all form of immersion and sense of adventure for me.

It's just an alternative desert to Unova one for example, that had dunes. This one is actually the one that looks more American or Asian like tho, and the Unova one looks more like an African desert.

This route threw too many new concepts at you all at once. You've got

>Grindrails you haven't seen since the first gym

And none of these concepts come back later or are built upon. It's like if World 4-1 in a Mario game were replaced with a random Sonic level, and the game never brought it up again.

I wasn't even talking about battles bruh. A lot of the overworld's music is stale and otherwise terrible. Actually, I'd venture to say every overworld theme before the fifth gym is subpar, minus Castelia 2.0 and the powerplant. What killed Kalos musicwise, though, was a complete lack of variety.

I agree with a lot of these, though you're not including boutique and super training, which is mistake. I don't like kiseki, diantha's theme, gym leader vs music, Santalune, and some others that you mentioned. However, this is a really short list compared to my favorite songs of other generations, and I wouldn't include anymore other than the two I mentioned. A few great tracks doesn't make for an overall great OST. Compared to B2W2, which had loads of tracks that I loved, Kalos just doesn't compare.

You are correct. Nothing was more annoying than getting blown into a chasing Trapinch by the wind and having to sit there and kill it instead of just running away, because they thought that it was an excellent idea to use a pokemon with an anti-fleeing ability on the only route in the game where things will actively come after you, and there were no other pokemon *but* Trapinch, unless you got extremely lucky and that *one* other pokemon that shows up there with a 1% chance pops out.

Without the wind there, you'd have a route where the battles themselves are inescapable but can be proactively avoided from the overworld by dodging the pokemon. The wind makes them impossible to avoid.
