What do you do to keep the game interesting? Whenever I get a Pokémon game, I choose a specific typing that I want and make that my entire team.
Usually post-game I start training type teams. Last gen and in Y version I was all about the Flying type. I also had a really good Water team and a seriously kickass Fire team.
Since I lost all my Pokemon (the SD card I kept Y on died, I'm still really sad and salty about it months later) and had to start anew, I'm thinking of going Psychic type, but I might also go for Steel.

Psychic types are too easy. Try out ghost types.

I had a ghost team in Y, too...I really miss my Golurk, Gengar, Froslass...my friends ;_;
I've never done a Psychic team or a Steel team, hence why I'm considering it.

Play the difficulty ROMhack.

Froslass is hard to battle with. She's fast, but doesn't hit hard.
If you know what you're doing you can sweep teams with her/cause ragequits though. I've done both.

I can't into computers.

Create a "tolerance" rating. Essentially "armor" against Super Effective moves.
Only using pokemon in my run, I've never used before.
I would love to play nuzlocke but I'm getting too nervous.
