In the peak of Mewtwo berserk, she managed to calm it simply by being gentle and fearless, so Mewtwo didn't hurt her and eventually grow to like her little by little, until one day he became fully attached to her, so now Mewtwo freely helps her (without using a pokéball) by his own choice.ibn4 "Implying that Pokken is canon", well I know it.
