Why does the West hate fun?

>4 in the top row for the west
best chuckle mate
>>24620633
Bright and colorful logos catch the west's eye better.
>>24620670 is one.
It outright says in that one guide for marketers (released in gen 5) that the word Pokemon HAS to be that one. I don't have the picture of the page I am talking about saved.
>>24620633
Because Americans are stupid and need to be able to recognize the brand or else we get confused and not by it.
>>24620633
interesting pic but incomplete
i know the pokemon words are always the same but they add some extras per box art/generation
the trademark system is stupid
Literally does not affect gameplay.
>>24620680
This. A franchise needs to have a single recognizable logo so people instantly knows what that game/product is. Maybe us americunts and europisses are too stupid for multiple logos, but Japan loves this kind of stuff more than westerners. They'll more likely check out a video game because they want too, not solely because a known logo catches their eye.

Exactly, the words are always the same. The words for the version of the game change, but the word Pokemon never changes for some raisin, a combination of >>24620670 and >>24620680.
>>24620674
gotcha covered
>>24620819
Disgusting
>>24620819
>company wants to keep their international brand and marketing unified and clean
You guys are fucking dumb.
>>24620861
>Wanting color dynamics logo is dumb
Wow I guess Japanese kids and parents must be totally unable to find the games since the logos change color each time!
I read somewhere Statians respond better to bright and familiar logos, so of course the whole west got stuck with the same logos forever

On behalf of my fellow cheeseburgers, I'm sorry.
