Regigigas has a Primal Reversion and gets huge power.
Regigas' Primal Reversion is triggered if it is in a party with Regice, Regirock and Registeel.
slow start for slaking, which is actually good since it has protect, rest and substitute
clear body or pressure or mold breaker for regigigas
early bird for archeops for obvious reasons

you are really underselling regigigas. with that bulk and access to stuff like knock off and thunder wave, it's a bulky sweeper. sub+focuspunch deals massive damage unboosted, and it has good coverage with stuff like the elemental punches, drain punch, earthquake, zen headbutt. it even gets rock polish if you want an extra option.
regigigas is more like a moltres (but without the 4x weakness to rock) than an articuno

Slaking has base 160 Attack, base 100 speed, and a 670 BST, on par with most box legendaries.
Truant is the only thing that's kept it out of Ubers for all these gens.
The idea behind Slow Start is flavor. Regigigas has been asleep for so long that it takes a while for it to get into the groove.
Defeatist doesn't really hamper Archeops as much as the other two abilities. It's frail, and should be using Roost when it's in Defeatist range anyway.

regigas was from the get-go a stupid idea to hinder with ability. It's a fucking legendary, let it be as strong as one!
regarding archeops and slaking, I personally think they are kinda fine as are because they are both found in their respective games quite early and are suppose to be somewhat high risk high reward. Archeops defiantly falls under this category but slaking not so much...
I would be very comfortable with both of them getting additional hindering ability like klutz. offensive archeops is fine with that as he commonly carries acrobatics anyways and slaking would become somewhat usable, not like now being completely shut down by protect

Im a bit disappointed ORAS didnt give us Primal Regigigas but we'll get it come the Diamond and Pearl remakes instead, I guess. Along with a third Giratina form thats even stronger than Origin
