Sceptile gets fuck all for moves until Leaf Blade and Torchic isn't particularly impressive either. Mudkip gets consistently good moves, an amazing typing, already gives you an option for a Surfer straight-up andSwampert's the best one aesthetically

Sceptile of course, best starter full stop. Clever theme (LEAF tail gecko fucking five stars), 10/10 aesthetics, great to use in-game and against friends.
I didn't like treecko when I was a kid, but I like it now, so I would choose it if I ever get or/as.
