I don't think I've made a mistake... and I think the users of 4chan would rather do anything than help me, given my experience with them. I think if my identity truly had nothing to do with the conversation then you wouldn't bring it up so much... and if it is poor form, then it reflects anonymous' blunder more than my own. Not to mention that this sort of thing is subjective and I've seen lots of tripfriends who've carved out certain "niches" get harrassed regardless.
