There's also a promotion going on during that time where you can buy the toys and cards in bulk at a discounted price. It's actually a hidden kind of word to the wise type of deal.
Remember that it's one per family not one code per person, we can give more than one code to a family as long as they have multiple 3DS's with their OR/AS or X/Y cart. We cannot give one person with multiple games and or 3DS's/2DS's & or games more than one serial code.
So if you're looking to score more than just one code you'll need to bring multiple people. There is a clause about this set by Nintendo and employees will be held accountable, possibly even under termination clauses if they're found on camera stealing codes and or passing out multiple codes to one individual.
Just giving you a heads up that across the US this will be strictly enforced as Nintendo is trusting us to do with competence what Gamestop could not. Which is why our Company has proudly earned the rights to host this event.
There will be tournaments at set locations also and Pokemon events that will be posted on the McDonalds website but that's for a later announcement.
We look forward to serving you and hope you come in and enjoy good food and your pokemon.

One last tid bit I forgot to mention.
If you sing the Pokemon theme song or any that are recognizable to our employees you can recieve the employees discount ontop of the bulk discount. Usually this only works at the drive-thrus but you can also Poke-Rap or sing the theme song at the counter and most all locations (unless privately owned) will give you the employees discount.

I ate at McDonald's quite a lot when I was in France and I can tell you now why this is: they will give you whatever they can get away with in each market. French people will not eat complete sewage when there are so many better (and cheaper than McDonald's even) options available to them. If they go to McDonald's, it's for convenience and a standardized experience they know will not be totally disgusting. The European food regulations also make it harder for them to sell filth. IIRC the ground beef they use in a single patty has to be traceable to a single cow, for example.
