Yup. Figured it out. It was a glitch with Gameboid. Got a different android emulator and it works.
Found my Plat cart the other day, rollin for starter. 1-3 Turtwig, 4-6 Chimchar, 7-9 Piplup. If 0 I guess i'll choose.
