How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:

Your physical cards probably aren't worth shit, but check sites like Trollandtoad, eBay and TCGplayer for the shinier ones to see if you can make a decent 5-10 bucks off them before you ask in the thread. We don't have the prices memorized for every single card.
To see what your PTCGO stuff is worth, look on the PTCGO forums in the trading section. For example, Top Cut Trading inc

Pack codes are worth about 15-30 cents while other codes are worth around a dollar or two.
Remember that if you're doing a TCGO code dump, post them as images and block off the QR codes. This prevents scumbags from scooping up the entire lot with client's QR reader or, in the case of typed codes, copypasting all of them onto the redemption page for themselves. DO NOT put text codes in a pastebin and remove the last character from them just because it's easier for you if you're dumping codes, scumbags have access to scripts that can easily find the missing letter/number.

Just take a look on top cut trading link from the OP
You can probably get the cards for 1-3 packs less of what it's listed there
Also they value the chests at 0.5 packs but you can get like 8 common cards for one
Or something like 3 or 4 uncommon
Just look at their prizes to get a rough idea on the value of the card and post a public trade that seems fair and you'll likely get it accepted
Also you could post here what cards you're looking for and maybe someone more knowledgeable will tell you how to distribute the trades fairly

The outragers are irrelevant. You'll get what, one attack for 120? Who cares. The dragon-type Reshiram is the real deal. Start with it, attach 2 energy T1, attach 2 more T2 then Swoop it for a 4 energy attacker and have it attacking on T2.

An equivalent of Dragon Call Gabite, which allows you to find and stream dragons to your hand. Having one as a Basic might be too spammable, though, unless there was an exclusion about the same specie you could just chain them up and get them all out the next turn, so maybe it's best kept as a Stage 1 like a Dragalge or Altaria.
Or even just something else to give dragons a boost at least. Fight Song is sorta okay but lessening energy costs would be better since they deal relatively mediocre damage for the required energy needed.

I'm debating on buying the Destruction Rush Theme deck for 500 coins from the shop so I can use its dark pokemon to knock out 40 pokemon on my opponent's side so I can win The Haunted deck from Active Challenges.
Two questions:
-Can I use that deck in the Trainer Challenges or can I only use the basic free decks?
-Do the Trainer Challenges count towards the Active Challenges for unlocking that deck?

What's funny is that Double Crisis was ridiculously close to being meta. It feels like they tried too hard to balance the cards that they ended up overbalanced it all.
Just go through the cards and make some very minor changes. Make Claydol like Aromatisse for Magma. Have Camerupt attach to any Magma Pokemon. Have the doubles not discard when your turn ends. Have the Balls search any Team pokemon, not just basic. Have Diffuser/Pointer actually do something. Increase the damage, especially on Aggron and Walrein. I mean, Kyogre and Groudon as they are would be usable if the entire archtype around them wasn't shit, and cards like Sharpedo and Muk already function fine as support Pokemon.

whoop, missed the question in there. By Standard I just meant the Standard format.
There is theme format - which is just the pre-built decks. There is standard - which is every card from XY-on - so the last eight(?) or so expansions. And then there is Expanded - which is everything from BW-on. That can wait a few weeks, but get out of theme as soon as you can manage. It's a completely different game when you build from scratch. The theme decks are stupid.
Here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/forum/metagame-deck-discussion.250/ are the decks that are generally agreed to be top of the meta. But they are all beatable, don't even worry about those yet. Put something together that you like and take it for a spin on the Versus ladder. Tweak it till it's consistent then take it to the tournaments to win more packs so you can upgrade once you know what you want.
Look for the ones tagged 'Standard Format' for now. 'Expanded Format' can wait.
Here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/forum/deck-garage.154/ is a wider selection of non-meta and less boring decks. Just things people are trying out. But don't just copy one. Find a good idea and work out how to make it better.

Basic Blue is overpowered as all hell. In Theme Deck format, it completely obsoletes every single other available deck. The only things it has trouble with are Zapdos and Metagross, and only when they set up faster.

Just watched a few Breakthrough Booster Box openings on YouTube and I am a bit surprised at the inconsistent pull rates. Most people seemed to get 7 ultra rares when counting Break cards. However, this guy managed to get 9 total with 4 BREAK cards

Finally getting to reply, was 4am where I was when I posted my question.
Ah.... as of right now, I've pulled Camerupt, Blastoise, Gardevoir and Lucario EX. 1 of each. So nothing really groundbreaking. XY Blue theme was pretty fun to play around with, but I bought the Iron Tide deck and I've been having fun with it as well. So Water/Steel would be what I'm enjoying at the moment.
