There's no particular theme for this thread, but let's try and see if we can make a few fakemon based on deep sea creatures.

Very rough Concept doodle: Autsum
This humanoid Pokemon feeds of the cringe feeling that humans feel. Therefore, it changes form to appear cringiest to those around it. It got it's name from its tendency to favor brony and sonic fan forms, and deliberate lack of social ability.

I'd like a little critique with these. I based them on old polaroid and film cameras, which could show images of ghosts, hence a ghost/steel(?) typing. I feel like I'm on to something, but it just needs a little more refining.

You're definitely on to something with using the old Polaroid as a base. Like I want these items incorporated into a mon, but maybe not into the exact idea you have there.
Maybe go a little more down the horror movie tread?
Anthropomorphize the camera one a bit more, like make that line on its red/dark body into a jaw.
Don't give up on it though, it needs a better concept but you're getting there.

I really like these designs, but they do not feel alive in the Pokemon-ghost sense. A few random thoughts came to mind:
On the first form, make the lens and the bulb be its eyes; it would float at an angle such that the eyes are parallel to the ground. In any event, it needs eyes. Whether one or two, they need to be normal eyes someone can look into and identify with.
On the evolved form, make the loose film have a consistent shape, as if the ghost is using it as an extension of its body, but not in some utilitarian way. Sure it can use them like appendages, but I think it'd be creepier and more original to have them floating in the air with slack, but keeping the same shape all the time.
Another random idea would be to have, on the evolved form, eyes on the film (regardless of where the eyes were on the first; if the first had a lens eye, the second would not).

It wasn't pushed, a lot of artists were trying to work on it because they saw potential. That means they liked it, and it would have been good to encourage them to try and finish a design, but people kept pushing their own mon in wanting them to be worked on and saying they hated the grass one just to try and disrupt progress.

I'm kind of going for this look (far as the teeth go).
I do think the head should be bigger and its shape should be a little less, "natural" or defined like you said. It looks like it has a skull and Pokemon usually don't look natural enough that you could picture what its bones would look like.
Maybe I'll just give up and play videogames instead.

Actually i retract my opinion. Brawn has a nice and original concept but it is a classic case of "it just gets bigger"
It needs to develop something aside from size. Champ and conk both double their weapons in the last stage (double pair of arms and double construction materials). Maybe make it so first stage of brawn has no goggles, second one gets a monocole-like device like in DBZ and last stage gets full visor/helmet

Thoughts on this legendary pokemon?
I was trying to go with the lush and something that represents jungles and tropics with the parrot/butterfly idea. I decieded try to put in the sleek look for this pokemon since it represents delicateness hence the fragility of life. Typings would go Fairy/Grass or Grass/Flying
Basically this Pokemon would only protect places near the equator. But this kinda sounds very similar to Xerneas in some way.

In my opinion, the best Legendaries are Mewtwo and Lugia. Both relatively simple, yet both their own unique creatures, and they look slick and powerful.
Most other Legendaries are either my mom's animal (Ho-oh, Xerneas) or just dragons with geometric shapes all over them.
Try thinking of what you want for a theme for a Legendary Trio, and based on that theme, make some mon that follow that theme. Keep it simple and unique and don't resort to pasting shit all over them to compensate for lack of design.
If you want to do a jungle god type legend, you may be on the right track with a bird or Quetzalcoatl type thing, although Ho-oh already did that. So create your own creature, maybe reminiscent of Q, but not literally just a Sugified bird of paradise like Ho-oh or just a birdlike figure with streamers/leaves all over it.
All this being said, I'm not saying I could do anything better, I'm just calling them as I see them.
All THAT being said, Ho-oh and Xerneas aren't even bad Pokemon. Neither are the geometry dragons. Fug is actually my favorite Legend even over Mewtwo and Lugia. Even if there isn't necessarily a lot of thought put into a concept, it can still come out looking fucking spectacular. Zekrom (literally just a dragon) or even Charizard (literally just a dragon/dinosaur with its tail on fire).

It's honestly tough to make a Pokemon. I mean, it all boils down to the style. A shit concept can turn out great-looking given the right amount of finesse (although no amount of finesse can fix shit like ice-cream-with-a-face or literally gears).
But yes. If they're a legendary, they have to look imposing. And to be a good legendary, they have to look unique. Find that theme you want, look at what others have done (maybe don't do the Q design because Ho-oh already did that), take inspiration, and create something unique of your own.
