I'm honestly surprised there's still Advance art made recently. You can tell because they have May in her ORAS clothes which didn't exist till 2012, or older fanart with Ash in his DP or BW outfit interacting with May.

I still don't really understand why Misty never returned, nor was even shown. So many people wanted it.
Brock lasted series more than her, which was surprising. They could easilt accompany Dawn and Ash with some other traveler.

I'm a huge Mistyfag (even tho I like Blue more), but I liked May, also surprisingly Iris (quite fond of the BW season, mainly because WHAT IT COULD be, not how it turned out to be), not too fond of Dawn or Serena (or gen 4/6 overall), I was surprised when I heard Ash's new companions will not be Tierno, Trevor and Shauna.
I like the fact they tried to modify Serena more (last time it happeend to player characters was Jimmy and Marina), but don't like how they censored her (lower bust) and absolutely can't stand the new hairstyle and costume. Also hate the forced down our throats ship during this season.
I think I'd ship Red/Ash and Misty, my favourite version of her is probably the Special incarnation, Dengeki Pikachu being close second.

Well, they did give him a waifu already. He invites Serena to join him when he's never invited anyone to join him before.
Brock, Cilan, Clemont and Bonnie, and Dawn ask him if they can join him. Misty, Iris, and Tracey force themselves along, and May coerces Ash to join her using the bike while Max just gets forced onto him.
With all these ships around, I have to say it. No matter ship it is, it will mean the end of the anime if it gets canon. Having a strong relationship is one of the steps that are needed in order to grow up. If the ship gets canon, then it's going to be the last episode, that will probably end with a flash forward with Ash's kid going on his own adventure. So you better hope this won't happen if you want the show to go on.
